Membership for Liberties Temple
The Temple is a organized community of believers, operating under the clear and unwavering leadership of Reverend Darakjy. Our purpose is to enact God's will on earth by systematically dismantling the structures of oppression and building a just society through education and our ministries. We are a body of action, not discussion. Unity of purpose and disciplined execution are the foundations of our strength.
Our Guiding Principles
Our work is directed by a coherent and established framework. These principles provide the clarity and focus required for our mission.
Divine Mandate for Liberation: Scripture reveals God's unequivocal alignment with the oppressed and His call for the liberation of the poor. Our mission is the direct fulfillment of this divine mandate.
Systemic Opposition to Demonic Capitalism: We recognize capitalism as an anti christian system. Our objective is its systematic replacement with a just economic order that serves the collective good.
The Primacy of the Collective: The mission of the church takes precedence over individual concerns. The well-being and advancement of the community are the primary focus of all our efforts.
Centralized Leadership: Reverend Darakjy provides the spiritual and strategic direction for the church. This centralized leadership ensures unity of purpose and effective action, allowing the community to move forward with clarity and conviction.
The Path to Membership
Integration into the church is a structured process designed to foster understanding and build community.
Phase 1: Observation and Participation
The initial phase is one of integration through action.
Attend the Sunday Gathering: Your first step is to join our weekly Sunday Solidarity Gathering. You will observe the structure, tone, and focus of our community.
Engage in Community Life: You will be invited to participate in communal activities and service projects. This is the primary method through which we build relationships and assess mutual fit.
Phase 2: Demonstration of Commitment
As you continue to participate, your role will evolve. This phase is about demonstrating a deeper understanding of and commitment to the church's mission and methods.
Accept Increased Responsibility: You may be invited to take on more significant roles in community projects or ministries.
Internalize the Mission: Through continued work and exposure to the community, you are expected to develop a thorough understanding of our principles and objectives. Your actions should reflect this internalization.
Phase 3: The Covenant of Membership
Upon successful demonstration of your commitment, you will be invited to formalize your place within the church.
Leadership Review: Your readiness will be reviewed by the church leadership and elders
The Membership Covenant: You will be invited to affirm the Membership Covenant. This is a formal pledge of dedication to the mission and principles of the church. Financially, we follow the biblical model of tithing and freewill offerings. Members are encouraged to contribute generously and voluntarily to the church, which operates as a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All financial contributions are tax-deductible, and our finances are fully transparent and available for review by any member. For those seeking a deeper level of communal living, we offer a separate, legally-binding Intentional Community Housing Agreement. This agreement outlines shared living expenses and responsibilities, similar to a co-housing model, and is entirely voluntary.
The Responsibilities of Membership
Membership is a commitment to a higher standard of purpose and conduct.
Adherence to Direction: Members are expected to respect the spiritual guidance of church leadership.
Contribution of Talent: Every member is encouraged to contribute their skills and talents to the collective's work. Each person has a vital role to play.
Support of the Collective: Members are expected to act in the best interests of the community at all times, both in their work for the church and in their personal conduct.
Continuous Dedication: The work of liberation is ongoing. Members are expected to maintain a high level of dedication and discipline in their service. We are driven by the truth that "The proletarians have nothing to lose but their chains. They have a world to win." We fight for a world where justice rolls down like waters, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.
If you are seeking a community with a clear mission and a structured approach to creating real and lasting change, and you are prepared to dedicate yourself fully to that cause, we invite you to begin the process by joining us for our Sunday Gathering.
